In one kalpa of Brahma, there are 14 manvantars. In one manvantar, there are 71 chaturyugas. At present, 7th Vaivasvat manvantar’s 28th kaliyuga is running. In 432000 years of this period, 5128 years have passed. In this phase, the rain stops. The scorching heat of sun rays dries up water. The atmosphere is filled with dust and the earth starts burning like dry cow dung. |

According to Vedic astrology, solar and lunar eclipses are indications of global warming. When two eclipses star occurring in 15 days, then there are definite indications of global warming.
According to Vedic astrology, solar and lunar eclipses, tsunami, earthquakes and global warming are signs of calamity on the earth. Sun and moon are directly related to climate change, atmospheric pressure, tides, earthquakes and tsunamis. Moon is a neighbouring planet. Therefore, the moon has a maximum impact on our life.
Frequency of eclipses is the reason for global warming. According to Vedic astrology, solar and lunar eclipses are indications for this. When these eclipses occur at a gap of months, then we have tides, cyclones, earthquakes and tsunamis but when they occur twice in 15 days, then we the phenomenon of global warming. Since 2005, the event of twin eclipses in a fortnight started. Vrahamihir has written about the incidents of fortnightly eclipses in Brihatsamhita. These eclipses give birth to tremors, cyclones, tsunamis and tides.
In Varshayoga, on the basis of wind, astrologers make predictions. But in the last 15-20 years, they have proved right only in 20 percent of the cases. The changing balance of the environment is the main culprit behind this. The reality is that due to heavy construction and urban sprawls, the blow of wind is obstructed and therefore prediction on the basis on winds becomes difficult. The world made of five elements is gradually damaging the main element. The next generation and the products of future will be contaminated due to this. Decline of yagna havan and increasing debauchery have led to human soullessness. In such condition there is need for commitment of maha-yagna from all of us.
