‘Plav’ is the name of this Samvatsara
Shukla Pratipada has begun from April 6, 2008 by 9:27 am.. Dr. Shanker Adawal is forecasting the idea of new Samvatsara 2065.
For Vikram era 2065 the positions of king and his minister both belong to the sun. This means there will be high temperature all over the globe. Crop will face the drought condition. There will be fewer fruits in the trees. Lesser rain will lead to drought condition. There will be a decline in the quality of milky animal. There will be spread of mysterious diseases among general population. The production of rice, sugar and wheat will decline. The cases of theft, looting and corruption will increase. The incidence of bomb explosion and catching fire can increase. National property has to face heavy losses.
There shall be sensational incidences of expositions of plots against big industrialists, governing heads of countries and eminent leaders. The leaders of world fame will face the ire of aggressive elements. The prominent personalities may face the ire in spite of being alert and attentive.
The Sun is minister too. People have to bear heavy prices for cereals and food grains. The increase in tax and cess will increase the dearness. In spite of government’s despotic measures there shall be heavy corruption in government. The thieves and corrupts shall prevail. Due to spurious drugs, milk, ghee and fruits selling there shall appear many epidemics. People will even not spare the chances of heinous crimes for gold, silver and property.
Dakshinaadhikari Planet. During this Samvarsara in celestial constellation seven out of ten rights are in favour of cruel and sinner planets. Only three rights are in favour of gentle and auspicious planets.

The meaning of the above sloka is as follows:
The year when Plav Samvatsara visits the earth there is plenty of rain on the earth. There is increase of diseases, epidemics and revolts among the masses. The crop also fails partly or completely at some places. The people are always frightened from thieves and unscrupulous elements.
These Dasaadhikaris are as follows:
1. The meeting of Shasyesh with Mercury planet will slightly lead progress in trade. Brahamin and Vaishya will be happy. In spite of all belligerent activities there shall be rise in entertainment and science.
2. The position of Dhanyesh is occupied by moon. There shall be plenty of production in rice, vegetable and milk. The cooperation between States and Centre will remain cordial. The crops of coconut and wheat will be good.
3. Meghesh means the god of rain for this year is Saturn. This means either the standing crop has to face hailstorm or heavy losses of grain due to heavy rain. The relation between subject and king will be strained. In spite of government’s despotic measures, the destructive activities will increase.
4. The position of Ramesh is with Jupiter. The government’s efforts in field of education and knowledge will be successful. The youths and adult youths will be engaged in constructive activities. People will be busy in performing religious rites. The supremacy of mendicant saints will be intact due to promotion of knowledge and preaching’s.
5. The god of Nauras matters is dark planet Mars. Due to this, coral, copper, red chilly, sandal, blanket and woolen goods, petroleum shall face the rise and fall of the prices.
6. The position of Falesh is in possession of cruel and sinner planet Saturn. The production of fruits and vegetables will decline. Northern provinces will face the ire of snow fall and cold waves.
7. This year the position of Dhanesh means the god of wealth and property is possessed by Mars. The markets will face the sudden rise in prices. The treasury, lockers, government and non – government banks and financial institutes will face heavy losses due to dacoity and looting incidences.
8. Durgesh means the position of general is also occupied by the Saturn. There shall be consistent differences in opinions between the legislature and executive. Due to rioting and public discontent, there shall be heavy losses of then public property by the masses.
9. This year the name of Megha means cloud is then Avartaka. The fruit of this will be incessant rain at unwarranted locations which will cause the havoc amongst the people.
10. The rain indicating Rohini dwells this year in the Sandhi part. In the coastal regions there shall be problems of heavy windstorms and cyclones. Due to usurers and brokers there shall be disentitlement in the market. The crisis of indebtedness and livelihood will deepen for the poor and frontier people.
